The Lotus Exige S Roadster has become the latest addition to the Assetto Corsa car lineup.
Marco Massarutto, Production Director at KUNOS Simulazioni, has revealed that the Lotus Exige S Roadster is officially the latest Lotus licensed car to be added to the title.
November of 2012 saw screenshots surface featuring the Lotus Exige S, however now the Roadster version of the car has been included in the game.
‘More raw than a Japanese tasting menu, this car combines its coupé twin’s mesmerizing grunt and handling, with an open air experience that makes the driver feel all the more at one with the road.’ Perhaps it’s time to hook a fan up to your gaming rig, for a truly real convertible simulation?
The Roadster version is a convertible, and in true Lotus fashion will deliver a responsive ride and sublimely agile handling from it’s finely tuned suspension. A supercharged 3.5 litre V6 powerhouse accelerates the car from 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, and 0-100mph in only 8.5. The roadster tops-out at 233kph (145mph), and generates 295lbft of torque.
The Lotus Exige S Roadster will be included in the first release of Assetto Corsa, expected for release in Fall 2013.
